From time to time your child will become ill, or you just need to send a quick note to the school.
This can be sent via your parent login direct to the school admin.
(the school will need to enable this feature. Please contact the school admin to discuss enabling this if it’s not visible on your login)
To report an absence/event, you will need to log in to the GroupEd app or webpage.
Once logged in select the messages tab on the left hand side.
At the bottom of the messages page you will see a banner with “Message us to report your absence, lateness, issues etc” please click on this.
You will now be presented with 3 contact options:
1. Report an absence/lateness
2. Report an event
3. Report an issue with the GroupEd app
Report an absence/lateness
If you would like to report that you child will be a little late arriving at school or that they will be absent for a day or so please select this option.
By selecting this option a message will be sent directly to the school admin with the reason of the lateness/absence, they can then update the attendance register for your child in a timely manner.
You will need to:
1. Select the student you are reporting the absence/lateness on
2. The reason they are late/absent
3. The start and end date of the event
4. Full details of the event
Once you have completed the mandatory fields you can submit this over to the school

Please use this option to send a quick message over to the school.
The details you must complete are:
1. Select the student
2. The date of the message
3. Full details of the event
Once completed please submit the message
Report an issue with the GroupEd app
This option will contact the GroupEd support team with any queries you may have.
As a team we will either contact you by telephone or email with a reply.
