From time to time your school may need to sell tickets for a school concert or summer fair. This type of activity's slightly different to paying for a trip as you can usually choose a date, time and amount of tickets you wish to purchase.
Follow the below for a step to step guide on how to purchase your tickets.
Log into your GroupEd account (if you are unsure on how to do this click here)
Once logged in, click on the Activities tab on the left-hand side
This will show a list of activities that your dependant has been invited to (if no activities are showing please contact your school admin to discuss)
Click on the ticketed activity you would like to view
This page will have a description, if there is a charge and the location of the ticketed event.
Click on the Choose Dates heading, this will show the date and time of the event. The school may have multiple dates and times e.g., for a concert
To purchase your ticket, click on the Consent and Payment heading, from here you will be able purchase a ticket.
By clicking on date, it will allow you to decide on what date and time you wish to attend if multiple options are available. If the school have no option for multiple times/dates, then your ticket will be automatically allocated to the default time and date set by the school
Select the ticket time and date you require and click Confirm (this will not be needed if the school has not offered multiple times and dates)
Select the number of tickets per family by using the + and – (the school may have set a limit, if so, this will show in grey under the heading number of tickets)
When you are happy with your ticket selection click Add to checkout
Check that the details are correct before proceeding
Once you are happy click the Continue to payment button
This screen will ask you to add your card details to pay (if payment is required)
Your bank will usually need to verify the transaction and you would need to follow their procedures to validate the payment.
Once validated by the bank, return to the GroupEd page and you will receive confirmation of the payment.
Your ticket has now been purchased
You will not receive a physical ticket via GroupEd, the school office will have a list of your purchased items.
