The Contact Registration Report shows how many parents and carers at your school have registered for the GroupEd parent app. It highlights gaps in uptake so you can identify and chase unregistered families.
Finding the Report
From the sidebar, click Insight.
Click Reports.
On the Reports page, click App signup Reports. The Contact Registrations report opens.
Page Overview
The Contact Registrations page is divided into two main sections: an issue summary at the top, followed by two detailed tables.
Issue Summary
The top of the page highlights four categories of registration issues, each with a quick-action button:
Issue | Action button |
Potential duplicate contacts | View duplicates |
Students with no email set | View no emails |
Potential email delivery issues | View email issues |
WhatsApp chase (not signed up) | Invited, not signed up / Not yet invited |
Student Reg Groups
This table shows app registration uptake broken down by class. Each row shows:
School class — the registration group name
Uptake — percentage of students with at least one registered contact
Count at least one registered — number of students with a registered parent or carer
Count invited but none registered — students whose contacts were invited but have not yet registered
Count students — total number of students in that class
Click the arrow (►) on any row to expand it and see individual student details within that class. Export options (Print, PDF Export, Excel Export) are available above the table.
All Students
Below the class table, a second table lists every student in the school with their individual registration data. You can filter this list using:
Contacts with email — filter by whether contacts have an email address on record
Priority coverage — filter by registration priority level
Show mobile — tick to include mobile number data in the table
The table columns are: First name, Last name, School class, School year, Count registered, and Count Invited. Click Charts to view a visual breakdown of registration data. Export options (Print, PDF Export, Excel Export) are available above this table too.
Inviting Contacts from this Report
The Invite Contacts button in the top-right corner lets you send invitations to all unregistered contacts in bulk. The WhatsApp chase row also provides two quick-action buttons:
Invited, not signed up — shows contacts who received an invitation but have not yet registered
Not yet invited — shows contacts who have not yet been sent any invitation
Use these options to prioritise follow-up and improve app registration uptake across your school.
Tip: Use the Inviting Parents/Carers guide to send app invitations directly from the Students & Staff page.
