From time to time your school will arrange an activity for your dependant to attend. Activities can be viewed, consented and paid for on GroupEd.
Below is an overview of how you view, consent, and pay for an activity
Log into your GroupEd account (if you are unsure on how to do this click here)
Once logged in, click on the Activities tab on the left-hand side
This will show a list of activities that your dependant has been invited to (if no activities are showing please contact your school admin to discuss)
Click on the activity you would like to view
This page will have a description of the activity, if there is a charge and what date/dates the activity will be held on
From here you can consent and pay
Click on the Consent and Payment tab under the activity title
To Consent or Decline, click on the Pending button, and select your decision
Once you have Consented or Declined you will be asked to confirm your dependant’s details are up to date and add/amend any details (if there are any major changes, please contact your school to discuss)
Click Confirm and the page will refresh to show that you have consented to the Activity. (If you do not consent to the activity, you will not be able to process any payments)
To process a payment, click the Payments button (under Consent)
This will default to the payment amount that the school have requested for the Activity, Schools have the option to request the full payment, or if it is a large amount they may break down into smaller instalments
Paying the full amount in one transaction
Tick the box next to the amount
Click Add to Checkout then Checkout
The checkout page will then update with your selected amount, check that the amount’s correct before proceeding
Click Continue to Payment
Add your card details and Confirm payment. Your bank will usually need to verify the transaction and you would need to follow their procedures to validate the payment.
Once validated by the bank, return to the GroupEd page and you will receive confirmation of the payment.
Activity will now be fully paid
Paying in instalments (only if option given by school)
Tick the box next to the amount you would like to pay. You can select multiple amounts if you wish.
Click Add to Checkout then Checkout
The checkout page will then update with your selected amount, check that the amount’s correct before proceeding
Click Continue to Payment
Add your card details and Confirm payment. Your bank will usually need to verify the transaction and you would need to follow their procedures to validate the payment.
Once validated by the bank, return to the GroupEd page and you will receive confirmation of the payment.
If you would like the system to remember your card details, you can opt into this on the payment screen
The instalment/s chosen have now been paid
