This means that the email address that you wish to use for the new profile has been used already on another profile.
If this email address has been on the system before and has returned, their profile would have been deleted. It would however still be in our archives and therefore you would be unable to use it again.
The first step to get around this is to use Reset Password instructions. Then you would be able to have access to profile and assign the new details to that profile as necessary.
If this is not successful - please contact us directly and we can reinstate the User from the archives.
