Logging In to GroupEd

Staff access GroupEd through the web app at **school.grouped.org.uk**. The same login works in the browser and on the GroupEd mobile app. All staff logins require **two-factor authentication (2FA)** using a one-time code sent to your registered email or phone.

## Step-by-step: Signing in

1. Open your browser and go to **`https://school.grouped.org.uk`**.

2. Enter your **email address** in the Email field.

3. Enter your **password** in the Password field.

4. Tap **Log in**.

5. A **two-factor authentication (2FA) screen** appears with six boxes for a one-time code.

6. Check your registered email address's inbox for the 6-digit code.

7. Enter the 6-digit code — one digit per box. The boxes fill in left to right.

8. Once all six digits are entered, you are authenticated and taken to the **Dashboard**.

> **Tip:** The code expires after a short time. If you do not enter it quickly enough, go back and log in again to receive a new code.

## Forgot your password?

1. On the login page, tap **Forgot password?**

2. The Forgot Password page opens at `/#/forgot-password`.

3. Enter your **email address** and tap **Submit**.

4. GroupEd sends a password reset link to your email.

5. Follow the link in the email to set a new password.

## Mobile app

The GroupEd app for iOS and Android uses the same credentials as the web app. Download it from the App Store or Google Play, then log in with your email and password. 2FA works the same way on mobile.

## Troubleshooting

Issue	Action
"Invalid email or password"	Check your email address is correct and that Caps Lock is off
Code not arriving	Check your spam/junk folder; make sure the email address on your account is correct
Code expired	Go back to the login page and log in again to trigger a new code
Account locked	Contact your School Admin — repeated failed attempts may lock your account
Password reset email not arriving	Check spam/junk; contact your School Admin if the address needs updating

## First-time login

If you have been invited to GroupEd for the first time, you will receive an **invitation email** with a link to set your password. Click the link, set a password, then log in with those credentials. The invitation link expires after 7 days — if it has expired, ask your School Admin to resend the invitation.
