Viewing the payment progress on an activity

Once you have logged into GroupEd, click on the Activities section on the left-hand side of the screen. (If you have trouble logging in, please refer this FAQ)

Here you will have a list of all your published activities.

1. Select the activity you would like to view.

2. Click on Student’s overview. This screen will allow you to see who has paid and who has missed an instalment (instalments will only be visible if the activity had been set up using this option)

3. Parents can only process a payment for an activity once they have given consent for their child to attend.

4. Once consented payments can be made. Any payment a parent makes will show against the pupils name under the Student’s overview section.

If the activity has a single payment request, then a completed payment will show as

Full consent and payment made

✓ Consented    ✓✓ 1/1 (Full payment received)

Full consent but no payment made

✓ Consented    ✓✓ 0/1 (No payment received)

Pending consent will show as

✓ Pending        ✓✓ 0/1

A declined consent will show as

✓ Declined       ✓✓ 0/1

The only difference between a single payment request and an instalment will be that the 0/1 section.

For example, if you have given the option for parents to pay in 10 instalments it will show 0/10. As the parents make payments this will change to 1/10, 5/10 etc.

5. You will also have a payment progress bar alongside the pupils name that will show as a green marker once an instalment has been made. Any missed/unpaid instalments will remain grey.
